Chakras Gong plates

According to Indian Yoga scriptures, the human body contains over 72,000 nadis (subtle energy channels), the most prominent of which are the Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna. The Sushumna nadi runs within the spinal cord (spine), and along this main channel lie the seven major chakras.These chakras act as a bridge between the mind, body, and spirit. When energy flows freely through these chakras, a person feels healthy and balanced. Blockages cause physical or emotional problems.Chakras are central to Indian yoga practice. They are considered sources of energy, detailed in ancient texts. For example, see this ancient Sanskrit verse:

अस्मिन् शरीरे मेरुरेकः सप्तद्वीपसमन्वितः ।
सन्ति सप्त समुद्राश्च सन्ति सप्त रसातलम् ।

This body has a Meru (the spinal cord, where the chakras are located), which is comprised of seven islands (places). This same body also contains seven oceans and seven abysses (lower realms) (i.e., the entire universe is within the body, including the chakras).These verses establish that the chakras are subtle energy centers within the physical body, and the primary goal of various methods such as yoga and nada sadhana is to awaken them.
